AECS 2016: The United Force of Victor

Earth. Fire. Air. Water. Metal. Avatar may masters four elements and bring balance to the world, but AECS 2016’s committees, so called Elementalists, master all five of it and ready to lead the participants (named Victors) to balance their inner forces and march to victory. Annual English Contests and Seminar is undoubtedly one of ESA (English Students’ Association)’s pride for ages, and this year it’s coming back as stronger than ever starting from this September 24th until 27th. Want to know more about it? Check out how Arina Khoirunnisa as the Steering Committee 2 tells us a glimpse about AECS 2016!
·       What’s the theme and what’s the reason behind it?
The United Force of Victor is the theme, because we want to think of the participants as human who have various elements inside them, and so they have to balanced all of those elements to be a winner.
·       The committees are Elementalists, the participants are Victors. Why is that?
The committees are the ones who actually balancing this whole event, because we have so many divisions on this, which just like elements, in succeeding this event we have to be balanced too. So there you go, Elementalists. For the name Victor itself, we just want to see them as a winner. Maybe both of the names aren’t really related to each other (in concept), but hopefully it can be positively implemented.
·       Lastly, share a message for the committees and participants!
To Committee: Be honest, and set your intention straight from your heart. If we set it straight, I’m sure that we’ll have the power to make it a success. Also be honest for everything; your feelings, financial matters, basically any problems, and we will solve it altogether. Keep in mind that you’re not alone, there are 173 of us as a team who are ready to make AECS success.

To Participant: Thank you for joining AECS 2016. We really hope to satisfy all of you, because we want you to get an experience that you will never get anywhere and any when besides in AECS. We are sorry for all of the flaws of this event, and lastly enjoy your four days in Bandung, VictorJ

So, can you feel the hype of AECS 2016? You should! As for English students, even though you can no longer compete on some fun English contests, I recommend joining the seminar (see details on the poster). Still curious about it? Check us out on aecs.esaupi.org, prepare yourself, and join us next year, whether as a participant or a committeeJ

*So I joined ESA's Publication House for my Department's Students' Association, and I wrote under the name of SailorPluto, so that is basically my pen-name.
