Synopsis
This is a cute romantic love story which takes place in a neighbourhood where there are many “cram schools”. A young man works at a copy shop and is stuck in the daily boring routine of making copies for test papers. On one of these monotonous days, he finds a drawing of a sheep on the back of a piece of test paper, which leads him to an unexpected journey. (mydramalist.com)

At first, i got this movie from my friends and what made me interest is because the main actor, Kai Ko. Maybe you ever watched or heard about him, he is famous for his romance-comedy movie before entitled You Are The Apple of My Eye, as the main character. Based from that movie, so i decided to watch it. Well, the main reason is because he is handsome haha and the movie You Are The Apple is just fun to watch for a teenage girls. Actaully I'm not the kind of a teenage girl who likes to watch romance-drama movies, but You Are The Apple of My Eye is just great with its not over-cliche-romance and comedies between the friendship. It's a different type of romance movie, it's fresh, and if you're a boy i bet you will have fun watching it because there are some boys-things-only in this movie. If you haven't watch it, you should give it a go.

The actors and actress acts well, as they express the love, sad, and confusion for waiting. I like the main girl character whose plays by Guo Shu Yao, she is weird, yet cute on her own way. I love how she patiently counts to one hundred when wait for something to happen, she's unique. For sure, i also loveee the  main boy whose plays by Kai Ko haha. I love when he do nice things to people, with his principle one kindness a day. Also by some side characters story such as; the handsome friedrice man whose apparently the owner of 1314 pager, the weird man whose owned the copy shop, and the money-oriented girl at the office. But i'm still not quite sure about the noodle-man whose like to show up suddenly, because at the very end after the credits the copy shop owner meet him, maybe he is a boss idk.

The plot itself was good. I love to watch a simple slice of life movie like this, not so much tense and dreamy. It's just a slice of life and some flashback moments which explains more about the story, especially the girl's past. Also it was surprising when actually the 1314 pager owner is the fried-rice man, with his tragedic love story. I love how everyone has their own heartbroken past, because in real life everyone all have a moment like that for sure. I thought that the similar case of the main girl and the fried rice man is telling us something, because there are some cases in real life couple whose lived apart and going long distance relationship and finally coudn't handle it because of the distance and trust between them. It simply tells how hard to wait for someone without being really next to each other.

After all, what i really likes about this movie is the cinematography, and some effects such as; the stop-motion at the very beginning and the effect at the end when the students are throwing the paper planes, because it gives some sort of dramatic feels especially when suddenly his ex girlfriend show up from the crowd and his surroundings just stop. It is the moment when the ex girlfriend whose the boy been searching finally came and the effect is just like the time stops as his speechless emotion.

Though overall, i really enjoyed this movie and the philosophy or morals between it. Oh yeah the morals is given by the noodle man when he is telling his past, which he thought some tragedy moments really needs to happened so someone could change or deserve to be better. It is just the same for some of the characters such as; the woman who lost her dog needed to lost it until finally she found more happiness by three kittens that she found, also the main boy needs to left by her girlfriend so he could meet the unique girl after and get some fun in his life. It just simply that bad things happened to us so we could change to be better and deserve better from before.

Well, i quite enjoyed this movie so i couldn't found a lot of stuff to be criticize. One thing that bothering me is why the boy just followed the weird copy shop owner when they first met, maybe he is a bad guy or something. Or maybe i'm just being pessimist. Also, is it okay to draws in the exam paper? If it in Indonesia, i bet we will get scolded. For the people who doesn't like some linear, slice of life, realistic movie, then it won't impress you. It is also not such a cute romantic couple, but they are cute the way they are.

Synopsis

Who doesn't know about this blue-rounded-robot cat Doraemon. We often see him in the manga and anime whose filled our childhood memories right? The presence of Doraemon, Nobita, Giant, Suneo, Shizuka have been embedded in our hearts and minds.

So recently, people around me started talking about this movie even months before it's released. Lots of rumors spread such as; this will be the last movie of Doraemon, Doraemon will be broken and can not be fix, Doraemon will never meet Nobita again, and others sad ending prediction. Well, those rumors sure made me curious, and i decided that i have to watch this movie.

When the movie was released in Indonesia, apparently there is only one cinema that will showing this movie. I thought it will be very crowded and the ticket queue will be very long, so i decided not to watch it on the first day its release. The next few days after the release day, some of my friends have watched it and they said that they had to queue for hours to get the tickets, they said the cinema was very crowded and the queues are very long. From hearing what they said, my friend and i decided to wait for a few days, again. Finally we went on the second week and when we got there the queues are still very long and all the seats have been occupied, so we decided to watch another movie, Supernova,  instead. Finally, my friends and i went on the third week. Even though the queues are not so long, but the auditorium was already full. After all, we got some seats and watched it with high expectations.

So the main thing is the 3D animation, which successfully entertains the audiences. People often see Doraemon and friends in its manga and anime, so when we see it in 3D animation it's just delighting to see them looks so real and we can see the expressions and emotions from the characters well, so the audiences can feel what they feel directly. It was fun to see part of our childhood memories that we have in minds getting more real.

Besides, one thing that disappointed the audiences is the ending. Why? Well, all those rumours aren't true. It turned out to be happy ending ta-da. For some of the audiences, also some of my friends said this movie is plain, no climax, and didn't bring tears as they expected. Well, i would agree with some of their reasons, even though that i was crying a bit. I thought that the reasons why it couldn't brought tears as expected is because the plot! The plot is just too fast, it's just seems like Doraemon came to Nobita's life for two or three weeks. Their closeness wasn't described well, because the plot is just to fast so the audiences couldn't catch their emotions for living together. Until finally Doraemon have to come back to the future, it's just seems like he is just a guest, not best friend, for Nobita. I thought  that the duration is just too short for the whole story, can you imagine just 95 minutes, one and a half hour, can tell all those emotions between Nobita and Doraemon that we used to read bunches of the mangas and animes. I don't mind to watch the movie in two hours or even three ours to get the emotions and climax, but maybe the animators was just too tired too built all those animation effects.

Over all, i admired the animation effect for the realness. Also some of the stupid and funny reactions of the characters that built well for the audience to shake the auditorium with laughs. The seiyuu or dubbing is quite great for making the characters alive. But the one that we expected the most was the climax which not so great, i just hate for the fast plot i wish they can make it longer. Well, at least I'm not curious from those rumours anymore.
